The Violet Solomon Oaklander Foundation is a non-profit corporation created to further the work of Dr. Violet Oaklander, eminent child and adolescent psychotherapist, trainer, and author of two books: 'Windows to Our Children' and 'Hidden Treasure.' In October 2003 approximately 20 of Violet's family members and long-time colleagues met in Santa Barbara to discuss various ways of carrying on Violet's work after she retires.

The 2025 VSOF Conference was incredible! Thank you to the presenters and participants.
In-coming President, Dr. Peter Mortola presented an updated version of the 4 step model, based upon his analysis of Violet's videos from his archive: it's now 6 steps, that he outlined in his presentation. So exciting to know that Violet's work is continuing to expand. ☺️
