Morning meditation has dramatically shifted the landscape of my life. I am not immune to suffering, that’s for sure. But daily meditation enables me to remain peaceful and calm more often. And when I do get lost in the suffering, my practice helps me to recalibrate more quickly. I highly encourage a simple morning practice.
1. 12 rounds of alternate nostril breathing.
2. So Hum mantra meditation for 10 minutes (SO on the inhale, HUM on the exhale)
3. 14 rounds of spinal breathing (inhale from root to crown, exhale from crown to root)
4. 10 minutes is silent meditation following the breath
5. Prayer
