Continuing the Exploration of Embracing Life's Invitations: A 3-Week Practice Series
with Carley Hauck
Mondays April 27 - May 11 @ 5:30 PM

This three-week series explores how aging, mortality, and uncertainty can become invitations rather than obstacles. Together we will practice meeting life honestly — cultivating courage, emotional resilience, and deeper presence.

Each session focuses on an emotional gateway — fear, anger, and grief — and the life invitation within it: letting go, forgiveness, and living fully.

Through guided reflection, dialogue, and contemplative practices, participants will learn how to meet these experiences with greater awareness, compassion, and courage. Between sessions, participants will receive simple reflection prompts and practices to help integrate these insights into daily life.

No prior experience is required — only curiosity and a willingness to explore honestly. See our website for further details on each week's theme.

🍵✨ Yoga and Tea ✨🍵
with Sarah Erickson
Mondays at 7:45 am

Start your day with a morning flow and silent tea meditation. Move through a thoughtfully sequenced 45 minute vinyasa-inspired yoga practice. Explore the physical and energetic effects of moving and holding postures that have been shared for centuries in the yogic traditions to unite body, mind, and spirit.

Class flows into a 10-15 minute tea ceremony inspired by Cha Dao - or “the way of tea” - where students will be invited to sit quietly with a small cup of tea. This practice does not require any previous experience with tea or meditation. Like yoga, tea offers us a chance to turn your senses inward, toward the heart. This meditation invites you to simply receive and begin your day with a greater sense of peace, presence, and loving awareness. A short opportunity for journaling or community sharing may be included at the end of the class.

Transition to Body Medicine Breath, invigorating the energy body to release stagnant emotions through somatic release, toning, hands-on intuitive assistance, and affirmations. The journey ends with profound relaxation and sound healing to allow the wisdom within you to guide you home.

✨ Teacher Feature + New Class ✨
Meet Concetta Troskie
Beginning April 16: Somatic Yin - Thursdays at 7 pm

Concetta is a somatic psychotherapist, guide, and facilitator devoted to the integration of body, mind, and nervous system. Her work bridges clinical depth with intuitive presence, drawing from somatic therapy, trauma-informed care, and embodied movement practices.

With a background in both psychotherapy and the expressive arts, Concetta creates intentional spaces where clients can safely explore subconscious patterning, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with the intelligence of the body. Her approach is both precise and deeply attuned—supporting lasting transformation through felt experience rather than force.

Her classes are known for their ceremonial quality, refined pacing, and somatic sophistication—offering students not just movement, but a return to presence, coherence, and self-trust.

✨ Somatic Yin: A Ceremonial Yin Practice for Nervous System Regulation

Enter an intentional, ceremonial space where somatic awareness and Yin Yoga converge to support deep nervous system regulation and subconscious attunement. Through long-held, passive postures, this practice targets the fascial network and connective tissues—inviting hydration, elasticity, and the release of deeply stored tension patterns within the body.

Grounded in both somatic psychology and the principles of Yin, you’ll be guided to downshift the nervous system, access parasympathetic states, and gently unwind habitual holding patterns held within the fascia.

🍵 Creativi-Tea 🍵
A Gong Fu Cha Tea Ceremony & Watercolor Painting Workshop
Friday, April 10 @ 7 pm
with Mukti Bird

Gong Fu Cha is a traditional way of pouring tea from China and literally translates to “making tea with awareness.”

Mukti Bird fell in love with tea in this form 15 years ago and has been on a journey of sitting with it as a daily practice ever since. She has found it lends itself to great inspiration especially with drawing and watercolor painting. The water leads the way both in tea and painting.

In this group setting Mukti will pour tea and also give some prompts throughout the sitting for each one to allow expression to come through both in written and illustrative form.

Please bring any form of paper/journal, a pen/pencil and watercolors you wish to use if you have them. Any preferred medium from watercolor, colored pencils/pastels/crayons etc. are welcome .

Our Story

Yoga Soup is a fluid, organic idea that is constantly re-shaping itself. As it grows it will no doubt assume different forms but it’s hard to imagine its intention much changing: to provide a safe, vibrant, serious and light-hearted space for self-observation and transformation to occur.
