This intimate gathering weaves together the gentle medicine of Kanna with live, inspired sacred music by candlelight, creating a container for authentic connection and sweet renewal.Our evening begins with a simple Kanna ritual, led by Luca. Known for her grounded approach and gentle presence, Luca creates heart-centered spaces for transformation, rest and healing. Kanna, a revered South African succulent, has been used for centuries by indigenous peoples for its gentle mood-lifting and stress-relieving properties. In our ritual container, this plant ally helps soften the edges of daily life, opening pathways to deeper connection—with ourselves, each other, and the present moment. Through facilitated movement and a little authentic sharing, we will create space for whatever wants to emerge.

Come laugh with us!
In laughing yoga, we laugh together and guide our mind to a state of joy. In body yoga we move our bodies into a series of postures to align our physical self, in laughing yoga we assume a series of mental postures to align our mind to a state of levity, happiness and positivity. This class guides us through a series of interactive laughing exercises designed to lighten your mood.

We begin with light stretches combined with laughter to expand the lungs and prepare our body and mind for the laughing exercises. Then we practice a series of laughing exercises until the whole room is filled with laughter and our bellies hurt from laughing. We finish with a laughing meditation to integrate laughter into our daily life as we return to the world.

Laughing floods the body and mind with dopamine and endorphins which elevates the mind to a euphoric and happy state. Laughter has been shown to lower cortisol levels, decrease stress and anxiety, improve your immune system and stimulate your heart and lungs. Walk in the world with laughter and a brighter spark in your eyes.

There's still a few spots left in our Creative Kids Yoga Series, starting Jan. 5 with Kelly Heath!

Creative Kids Yoga classes introduce postures, breathing and yoga themes to kids through movement and art. We float, grow and balance through a dynamic, fun flow building awareness, confidence and strength. This is kid friendly, energetic, silly and fun yoga.

Each week of this series explores a new "pose of the day" and a yogic theme in both the asana (movement) and art portions of the class. We will add poses and projects every week giving these yogis a solid yoga foundation, tools to be successful both on and off the mat and a collection of cool, creative pieces of art.

Gong Yoga Nidra is a powerful restorative yogic practice. All that is required of you is to lie on your back, listen, and relax. Mitsuko will do the rest.

The practice of Yoga Nidra can create new neural pathways in the brain. It has been shown to reduce the impact of deep emotional associations from past experiences on the nervous and immune system. Mitsuko will read a script that takes one’s awareness on a trip through the physical body, breath body, sense body– guiding the mind through the subconscious. She will end the sound meditation by chaperoning the imagination to outer space by the vibratory sounds of duelling gongs.

We will combine gentle warm-ups, standing and seated qigong, microcosmic orbit and circulation practices, and guided visualizations to tune body, breath, and mind. You'll be guided through approachable sequences that build grounding, open the breath, and restore balance to your nervous system. Emphasis is on usable tools you can bring into your morning routine, during stressful moments, or as part of an ongoing qigong practice. The workshop blends energetic clarity with simple alignment cues so each movement supports both health and presence.

By the end of the session you’ll have practical techniques to clear stagnant energy, expand your capacity for focus and calm, and a short personal routine to carry your New-Year intentions forward. All levels welcome; modifications and slower options will be offered so everyone can participate safely.

Our Story

Yoga Soup is a fluid, organic idea that is constantly re-shaping itself. As it grows it will no doubt assume different forms but it’s hard to imagine its intention much changing: to provide a safe, vibrant, serious and light-hearted space for self-observation and transformation to occur.
