BLS classes every week. Safety Matters Certified Training is a local and insured company specializing in providing quality Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare providers, CPR/AED and First Aid for the Workplace and Community Training & Certification throughout Santa Barbara County. Safety Matters Certified Training is an Authorized Provider of CPR & ECC courses for the American Heart Association and American Health & Safety Institute. We also provide OSHA Awareness Safety Training including Fire Safety and Forklift training. We bring classes to your workplace when you need them allowing you to schedule classes when it fits into your busy work schedules.

The location of Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrests (OHCA) most often occurs in homes/residences (73.4%), followed by public settings (16.3%), and nursing homes (10.3%).

If performed immediately, CPR can double or triple the chance of survival from an out of hospital cardiac arrest.
