Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (California)
Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying (Ontario, Canada)
Certified Nutritional Practitioner

When our past is haunting our present, it is an opportunity to explore unresolved pain, grief, sadness and anger that we may not have been able to express as children. I believe that becoming a whole person involves identifying, retrieving and integrating lost parts of our self. My intention is to guide clients to discover the healing they seek through gentle curiosity, practical exercises and nervous system rewiring. My primary areas of focus include: grief & loss, relationships, self-worth, women's work, and unresolved early childhood attachment challenges. I specifically work with women who have lost a parent/had unavailable caregivers in early childhood, experience unresolved grief and repeat painful relational patterns. When we have not had our needs met in early life, we may develop the belief that we are unworthy. Our journey as adults, is to reclaim & nurture the wounded parts, finding wholeness again. As a therapist, my role is to help you discover your most authentic self, the deep Soul wisdom that lies within your heart, and uncover limiting beliefs, mind and body memories and somatic experiences that hinder you from fully embracing and loving yourself. Together, we help you find freedom and safety within that grounds you into your day to day life.

"To the Hearts That Have Been Broken"

If your heart has ever cracked open…
please, don’t rush to hide it.
The fractures don’t make you any less worthy —
they simply mean you once loved deeply,
once trusted fully,
and were brave enough to feel life with all your softness.

There are wounds no one sees,
like a leaf falling in the quiet of night —
silent, unnoticed,
and yet still part of the season.
You, too, are a part of this world,
even if you’ve fallen,
even if you’ve been broken more than once.

Don’t blame yourself for feeling too much,
for holding on, for believing, for hoping.
It is that very tenderness
that makes your heart beautiful —
not in a way that demands to be explained,
but in a way that longs only to be seen with kindness.

If today feels heavy,
let yourself rest.
Not everyone is strong every day.
Some afternoons need nothing more
than a quiet cup of tea
and a space where no one asks you to be okay.
And that, too, is healing.

You don’t have to pretend.
Be sad, if sadness is here.
Cry, if your tears are waiting.
You are not weak —
you are just real,
and real hearts feel everything before they heal.

And you know…
those who’ve been broken often become the gentlest souls —
because they’ve tasted sorrow,
and from it, learned how to be a safe place for others.

So stay.
The world still needs you.
Even if you’re not whole yet,
you — in the way you continue to move forward —
are already something beautiful.

Join us for a soul-nourishing day of rest, renewal, and reconnection in a safe circle of women. The Way of the Rose is a one-day immersion designed to gently guide you home to your body, your voice, and your deeper knowing.

This is a sacred day of rest, renewal, and remembrance of your feminine nature.

The rose has long been a symbol of the feminine soul—beautiful, strong, layered, and resilient. The Way of the Rose is more than just a retreat; it’s a sacred path of remembrance. A call to slow down, to soften, to listen. A return to what is ancient, intuitive, and deeply wise.

In a world that measures worth by productivity, this retreat offers a radical invitation: to love yourself not for what you do, but for who you are. To soften the striving. To slow down. And to remember that your being is enough.

This day is designed to be a sanctuary—a place where you can shed the roles, the pressure, and the noise of the outside world, and reconnect with the deeper pulse of your inner life. Like the rose, you are invited to unfold—petal by petal—into your own beauty, mystery, and strength.

Whether you are navigating transition, seeking clarity, or longing for meaningful connection with yourself and others, this retreat offers a space to be held, seen, and renewed.

Let this be your moment to remember:

– Who you are beneath the striving and doing
– What matters most beneath the distractions and painful thought patterns
– And how to live in harmony with your body, your rhythm, life’s cycles and your truth

The Way of the Rose is an offering to your soul. An invitation to walk in beauty, live in alignment, and bloom from the inside out.

Our day will include:

– Soulful visioning and mindful practices
– Somatic and embodiment practices
– Art, writing, and ritual for integration
– Rose tea ceremony
– Nourishing organic lunch and heartfelt connection

Come as you are. Leave feeling more whole, alive, and grounded in the truth of who you are—love.

“Thoroughly unprepared, we take the step into the afternoon of life. Worse still, we take this step with the false presupposition that our truths and our ideals will serve us as hitherto.

But we cannot live the afternoon of life according to the program of life’s morning, for what was great in the morning will be little at evening and what in the morning was true, at evening will have become a lie.

Life really does begin at 40. Up until then you are just doing research.” - Carl Jung.

Native American Medicine Wheel—

The Medicine Wheel, sometimes known as the Sacred Hoop, has been used by generations of various Native American tribes for health and healing.

It embodies the Four Directions, as well as Father Sky, Mother Earth, and Spirit Tree—all of which symbolize dimensions of health and the cycles of life.

The Medicine Wheel can take many different forms. It can be an artwork such as artifact or painting, or it can be a physical construction on the land. Hundreds or even thousands of Medicine Wheels have been built on Native lands in North America over the last several centuries.

Movement in the Medicine Wheel and in Native American ceremonies is circular, and typically in a clockwise, or “sun-wise” direction. This helps to align with the forces of Nature, such as gravity and the rising and setting of the Sun.

Meanings of the Four Directions

Different tribes interpret the Medicine Wheel differently. Each of the Four Directions (East, South, West, and North) is typically represented by a distinctive color, such as black, red, yellow, and white, which for some stands for the human races. The Directions can also represent:

Stages of life: birth, youth, adult (or elder), death
Seasons of the year: spring, summer, winter, fall
Aspects of life: spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical
Elements of nature: fire (or sun), air, water, and earth
Animals: Eagle, Bear, Wolf, Buffalo and many others
Ceremonial plants: to***co, sweet grass, sage, cedar

Our Story

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist & Registered Certified Nutritional Practitioner AMFT#101329

As a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, with an M.A. in Clinical Psychology and a Registered Certified Nutritional Practitioner, I am deeply invested and drawn to helping women, men, and couples going through difficult life transitions and transformations. Addressing relationship pain and heartbreak, including divorce, breakups, addictive love and the anxious/avoidant attachment wound are the cornerstones to my professional practice. I am passionate about the concept and process of healing painful heartbreak and have been practicing in the professional health and wellness field for over a decade. I have personally experienced and worked with women, men and couples in the deep angst and pain of relationship ending, grief and loss wondering how life can possibly go on... In the space of deep heartbreak and grief, though an extremely devastating and even, traumatizing time, I do believe there is an opportunity to evolve and change in a way unavailable to us, without this heart crushing experience. We have the chance and ability, if we allow for it, a new way to exist in the world. My passion and focus is on individuals and couples dealing with the effects of early childhood attachment trauma and relational injuries in present day romantic relationships– relationship endings, divorce, depression, addictive love, leaving abusive relationships, grief, loss, & heartbreak. Additionally, I have experience working with parents and infants/children helping them to enhance healthy attachment bonds, strengthen family dynamics and create greater relationship harmony.
