There’s no one right way to come out as LGBTQ+; it’s extremely personal and different for everyone. Coming out can be exciting, overwhelming, and sometimes scary.

Here are some reminders on this :

✨ You still matter, even if you haven't come out.
✨ Coming out isn’t a one-time thing.
✨ You don't have to come out if you don't want to.
✨ It’s never ok to pressure someone into coming out.
✨ Your identity is valid, no matter who else knows it.

You, and only you, are in charge of your coming out experience.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's a great time to get screened and encourage your loved ones to do the same. 💖

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in the U.S. The sooner it is found, the easier it is to treat. Stay on top of your health by getting regular clinical breast exams, mammograms (based on age and risk factors), and checking your chest/breasts often so you’ll notice any changes.

You can get screened by a nurse or doctor, like the expert staff at your local Planned Parenthood. Schedule an exam at ppcentralcoast.org or call 1-888-898-3806.
