You know what's more uncomfortable than a hospital bed? The transformable vinyl chair-to-bed partner back breaker (or no bed at all). You know what increases healing, connection, oxytocin release, and just bottom line awesomeness? This. This 100%. Why don't we do this more often after birth? Thank you for capturing this couple's openess and reality of what hospital birth can look like. Birth doesn't have to follow traditional expectations.

Milk And Hannah "He took off his shirt a quarter of an hour after their sonโ€™s head crowned. She had encouraged the skin to skin of this new life and his dad. He crawled next to his exhausted and radiant wife and squeezed himself against the bed rail. She placed their son on his chest and then nuzzled her chin into his shoulder. They laid here in this nest they built together. A haven."

The Diaper Fairy
Santa Barbara Diaper Fairy was founded in 2015 out of a love for the environment & a passion to help make a difference. Santa Barbara Diaper Fairy is your local cloth diapering laundering & delivery service. We are dedicated to educating residents about the simplicity of cloth diapering while creating a healthier environment for babies now and 100 years from now. As your local, eco-friendly cloth diaper laundering and delivery service, Santa Barbara Diaper Fairy offers reliable service, serves as an information resource, and conveniently delivers your cloth diapering supplies right to your door! The Owner Jessica Simon, owner of Santa Barbara Diaper Fairy, is a New Jersey native who was lucky enough to find her way to Santa Barbara almost a decade ago. Growing up on a small ranch in the Garden State fueled her passion for the environment. Later she did volunteer conservation work in the mountains of Montana, and eventually found her way to our little blue town by the big blue sea. - See more at: http://www.santabarbaradiaperfairy.com/about-santa-barbara-diaper-fairy .bjfpPWu7.dpuf

YES. THIS.

"We are under the impression that new moms are Superwomen and can return to life as it was before baby. We must remember to celebrate this new mother and emulate other cultures that honor new mothers by caring for them, supporting them and placing value on the magnificent transformation she is going through. This is the greatest gift we can give to new mothers and newborns."
