On my last night in Chile, under the first (almost) full moon of 2026 I’m reflecting on a journey shaped by listening inward and saying yes to what my heart guided me to do.

As we step into this new year together, I wish you clarity and courage to follow what’s calling you, and giving yourself permission to rest when your body or mind asks for it. May we move with intention and honor our natural rhythms.

What is Lunar Nidra? 🧘‍♂️🌕

Let’s start with ‘Nidra’ part. Lunar Nidra is rooted in the guided meditation practice of Yoga Nidra, which is often called “yogic sleep.” It’s not about actually falling asleep. It’s a deeply restorative practice that guides you into a place between waking and dreaming.

In this state, the body fully relaxes, the mind softens, and your awareness gently expands. It’s like giving your whole system permission to pause, to rest, and to listen on a deeper level.

Now, the Lunar part. In astrology, the Moon reflects our inner world — our inner wisdom shaped by memories and the ways we instinctively, often without realizing it, react.
By attuning to the New and Full Moons, we work with natural cycles of beginning and illumination, moments that invite reflection, release, and new intentions.

Lunar Nidra blends these two worlds 🧘‍♂️deep rest and lunar wisdom 🌙so you can feel these cycles in your body, not just think about them.

I want to share something personal with you today. For quite some time now, I’ve been learning to trust that persistent voice within. The one that calls me toward the work I know I’m meant to do. It hasn’t always been easy. Some people find it a little “out there,” or gently suggest that I should get a “real job.” But my heart keeps saying otherwise.

It takes courage to listen to that kind of calling, the kind that doesn’t always make sense to everyone else, but feels undeniable in your bones and fills you with quiet joy.

Tonight’s Aries Full Moon, on October 6, 2025, at 8:47 pm PDT, is all about that kind of courage. It lights up the parts of us that are ready to step forward and bring something alive that’s uniquely ours.

Take a sacred pause, get comfortable, and listen to the Lunar Nidra practice.

I’ve created a new Lunar Nidra practice to support you through this cycle. Together, we rest with the flow of Pisces waters, connect with the body, and take a sacred pause from the fast-moving world.
