Scott received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. After medical school he then performed a rotating internship at Phoenix General Hospital in Arizona and then returned to California to complete his family practice residency at San Jose Medical Ce
nter, an affiliation of Stanford University Medical School. Dr. Scott then established his private practice in Santa Clara and has been practicing in his solo practice for over 20 years. Dr. Scott's osteopathic training included an emphasis on the musculoskeletal system, the body’s interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones. He has incorporated this training into his unique “whole person” approach to medicine while being focused on the more basic preventative techniques such as proper nutrition and exercise. Dr. Scott presently resides in Santa Cruz, California with his wife and two children. He enjoys gardening, pursuing his passion for history, bodysurfing, biking, and running in the Santa Cruz Mountains with his Dalmatian, Cleo.
