Just wanted to thank Comet cleaners for their continued support of families of veterans who have passed away. When the funeral home submits a flag application for US burial flags and retrieves them from the US Post office they are packaged in a box and are wrinkled where the folds are.
Comet Cleaners has continuously provided free pressing of US burial flags for many years.
So on behalf of the many families who are presented these flags at funerals, I want to thank Javier (Javi) Jr., his family, and staff for their generous contribution.
When I spoke to Javi Jr and his family who are the new owners of Comet Cleaners to ask if they wanted to continue the program to help his response was...
"We would love to continue helping out our Veterans!"

On another note!
The new owners of Circle H Western Store in Silver City are Janice and Joe and they will be offering dry cleaning and laundry services after the Rodeo. I'm happy to hear that Grant County will have cleaners again!
