Introducing Wireless DAEC™ for Precision Low-Dose Radiography (PLDR)
In the just completed China International Medicinal Equipment Fair (CMEF) in Shanghai, China, CareRay presented its most current expansion of Wireless Digital Automatic Exposure Control (DAEC™) product line in an official statement.
In mobile digital radiography (Mobile DR), neonatal radiography, and radiography of extremities have not had the option to utilize automatic exposure control technology. Mobile DR is broadly utilized for diagnostics in the on-going Coronavirus pandemic period; hence, they are sought after. The exposure parameters in these applications can only be set by the radiologist experience. This is labor extensive, and mistake inclined resulting in poor image quality, or potentially unusable images, causing over exposure for the patients. The required range of abilities for radiologist is also not scalable for they are not accessible in remote or rural locations.
CareRay’s breakthrough innovation for DAEC™ with its incorporation with wireless digital X-Ray flat panels changed all that. This innovation not only breaks the barrier of automatic exposure control in the X-ray imaging applications mentioned above, but also can be applied to wide range of digital X-ray applications, making low dose and accurate X-Ray imaging up another level. Especially with its advanced “Unlimited DAEC™” technology, it brings new and intelligent X-ray acquisition and diagnostics a reality to achieve real Precision Low-Dose Radiography (PLDR).
