Your pelvic floor is more important than you think.

It supports your bladder.
It stabilizes your core.
It protects your spine.
It plays a major role in intimacy, posture, and postpartum recovery.

Yet so many women are told that leakage, discomfort, or pelvic pain is “normal.”

It’s common — but it’s not something you have to live with.

Ignoring the symptoms can make them worse over time. The right therapy can help you restore strength, control, and confidence safely and professionally.

If you’ve been experiencing:
• Urine leakage
• Pelvic heaviness or pain
• Lower back discomfort
• Pain during intimacy
• Postpartum weakness

It may be time to listen to your body.

You deserve to feel strong and supported.

Your Pelvic Floor Matters More Than You Think

It’s not just “down there.”

Your pelvic floor supports your bladder, bowel, and uterus.
It activates when you cough, laugh, lift, or jump.
It controls bladder and bowel function.
It stabilizes your core.
It even plays a role in intimacy.

But when it’s ignored —
long sitting hours, straining, improper lifting — it weakens.

And when it weakens, you feel it.

Leaks.
Pressure.
Pain.

✨ You don’t have to live with it.

Strong support starts from the foundation.

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the changes that midlife brings?

If your body feels different… your emotions feel heavier… or you’re simply unsure about this new phase of life — I want you to know, you are not alone.

Midlife is not an ending. It’s a transition. And with the right understanding and support, it can become one of the most empowering chapters of your life.

I’m Trapti Agarwal, Pelvic Floor Therapist, and I specialize in helping women understand and reconnect with their bodies — especially during phases like perimenopause and menopause. Many midlife symptoms, from pelvic discomfort to changes in bladder control and core strength, are connected to the pelvic floor. With the right guidance, these concerns can be addressed gently and effectively.

I warmly invite you to join us for “Midlife Reimagined” — a FREE community event where we’ll talk openly about physical, emotional, and life transitions. Alongside Lifescaping Coach Andrea Curthoys Berreth, and moderated by Eve Scanlon, we’ll create a safe and supportive space for reflection, learning, and growth.

This event is brought to you by Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley and LifeForward — organizations dedicated to empowering women to believe, build, and be.

Space is limited.

If you feel heaviness, pressure, or intense cramps during your periods… this is for you. 💛

Most women think period pain is just normal.
But sometimes, the real reason is pelvic floor tension.

During periods, pain sensitivity increases.
If your pelvic floor muscles are already tight, they can become even tighter — leading to heaviness, pressure, and stronger cramps.

The good news? ✨
Simple pelvic floor release exercises can help reduce that tension and ease your discomfort.

You don’t have to silently suffer every month. Relief is possible.

Pain during intimacy is more common than most women admit… but that doesn’t make it normal.

If you’ve ever felt discomfort, burning, deep pain, tightness, or fear around intimacy — please know this:

You are not alone.
And you are not broken.

So many women stay silent about this. We feel embarrassed. We blame ourselves. We think maybe we’re too tense, too sensitive, or that it’s “just how it is.”

But pain during intimacy is often a sign that your pelvic floor muscles are tight, guarded, uncoordinated, or under stress.

Your pelvic floor is deeply connected to:
• Your nervous system
• Your breathing patterns
• Past stress or trauma
• Postpartum changes
• Hormonal shifts

And when these muscles don’t know how to relax properly, intimacy can become uncomfortable — or even painful.

The good news?
This is treatable.

With gentle, guided pelvic floor therapy, we help you:
✔ Release tension safely
✔ Improve muscle coordination
✔ Regain confidence
✔ Feel comfortable in your body again

You deserve intimacy without fear.
You deserve connection without pain.
You deserve to feel safe in your own body.

If this resonates with you, don’t ignore it. Support is available — and healing is possible. 🤍

Can we talk about pelvic floor pain for a second?

If you’ve been feeling constant heaviness “down there,” deep discomfort, a burning sensation, or that pressure feeling that just won’t go away… I want you to know something very clearly:

You’re not dramatic.
You’re not imagining it.
And it’s not “just part of being a woman.”

So many women quietly live with these symptoms. We push through work. We take care of everyone else. We tell ourselves it’s from pregnancy, aging, stress, or sitting too long.

But your body doesn’t send signals for no reason.

Pelvic floor pain can happen when muscles are too tight, too weak, uncoordinated, or constantly under stress. And it’s not always solved by doing more Kegels. In fact, sometimes that can make things worse.

What your body really needs is understanding — and the right kind of guidance.

With proper pelvic floor therapy, we gently assess what’s actually happening: your muscle tension, breathing patterns, posture, and nervous system response. Then we create a plan that supports you — not overwhelms you.

You deserve to sit comfortably.
You deserve to exercise without fear.
You deserve intimacy without pain.
You deserve to feel at home in your body.

If any of these symptoms sound familiar, don’t ignore them. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

We’re here to support you — gently, respectfully, and without judgment. 🤍

🚨 Stop doing these exercises if you care about your pelvic health.

Not all workouts are pelvic-floor friendly — especially if you’re already dealing with leaking, pelvic pain, heaviness, or tightness.

Some common exercises can actually make symptoms worse when your pelvic floor isn’t properly assessed or coordinated.

⚠️ Exercises that may aggravate symptoms (if done incorrectly or too soon):
• High-impact jumping (burpees, jump squats)
• Heavy lifting without breath control
• Aggressive core workouts
• Excessive Kegels without proper evaluation
• Intense ab exercises like crunches with poor pressure control

Here’s why 👇
Your pelvic floor works closely with your diaphragm, deep core, and nervous system. If breathing patterns, pressure management, or muscle tension aren’t addressed first, these exercises can increase downward pressure and strain.

And more Kegels are NOT always the answer.
Sometimes the pelvic floor is tight — not weak.

The goal isn’t to stop exercising.
It’s to exercise smarter.

With proper pelvic floor therapy, we assess muscle tension, coordination, breathing mechanics, and posture — so you can move confidently without worsening symptoms.

Your body isn’t fragile.
It just needs the right strategy.

If you’re unsure whether your workouts are helping or harming your pelvic health, it may be time for a professional evaluation.

Pregnant? 🤰
Everyone says, “Just relax.”

But no one actually teaches you how.

Labor isn’t just about strength — it’s about coordination, breath, and knowing how to let go at the right time. Your pelvic floor plays a crucial role in delivery, and tension (often caused by stress, fear, or lack of preparation) can make the process harder than it needs to be.

Here’s what most moms aren’t told:

✨ If your pelvic floor doesn’t know how to relax, pushing becomes less efficient.
✨ Shallow breathing keeps your body in fight-or-flight mode.
✨ Fear increases muscle guarding — including in the pelvic floor muscles.

The good news?
Relaxation is a skill — and it can be trained.

Through prenatal care, pelvic floor therapy, and guided breathing exercises, you can support a smoother pregnancy, more confident labor and delivery, and stronger postpartum recovery. This is essential women’s health care that too many moms miss.

✔ Improve coordination during delivery
✔ Reduce unnecessary tension
✔ Feel more confident and prepared
✔ Support healing after birth

Your body was designed for this.
It just needs the right guidance.

👉 Book your prenatal pelvic floor consultation today.
Because preparation changes everything.
