SPARTA The SPARTA Project is a 5 day retreat for warriors, veterans and first responders. We heal the spiritual and moral wounds of war, trauma, and violence.

The SPARTA Project is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We are one of the nation's leading programs for treating warriors with spiritual and moral wounds, PTS(D) and suicidal ideology. The Mission:
To transform the stress and trauma caused by war and violence into resiliency, empowerment, personal growth, individual greatness in order to create an EPIDEMIC OF HOPE©! Spiritual and Moral Wounds:
It's SPARTA's belief that traditional methods of healing are not enough. Warriors need something different than drugs to heal the spiritual and moral wounds caused by trauma and war. To this end, SPARTA delivers state-of-the-art programs that transform PTS(D), and trauma into acceptance, growth, and resiliency. All trauma, be it from war or other life-threatening experiences, creates a spiritual wound. Identifying and properly treating the spiritual wound created by trauma is essential to the healing process. Spiritual and moral wounds can lead to conditions of hopelessness, desperation, and isolation. Our goal is to transform these very wounds into personal growth and empowerment in order to create an EPIDEMIC OF HOPE©! How SPARTA heals PTS(D):
Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) is a result of exposure to traumatic events such as war, violence, injury, and death. Exposure to these events can train the autonomic nervous system (body, brain, and mind) to be in a constant state of stress i.e. fight or flight. Most people who experience symptoms of PTS(D) do not know that their own brains have been changed by stress (Brain Change AKA Amygdala hijack). SPARTA educates participants on how the body, brain, and mind are trained into a constant state of stress and the common behaviors associated with a condition. We then provide specific tools and techniques to retrain the body, brain, and mind into rest, relaxation, and peacefulness. How SPARTA heals Suicidal Ideology:
Suicide (or a suicidal ideology) is a condition of hopelessness. Hopelessness cannot be medicated away with pills. Hopelessness is cured by the right relationships in one's life combined with the proper perspective and correct information. SPARTA’s clinical team members are the right relationships; they are professional who understand the downward spiral that leads to hopelessness and they are highly skilled at empowering participants with the right relationships, perspective, and information to find a new sense of purpose in their lives. Together we are the EPIDEMIC OF HOPE! If you or someone you love is suffering from PTS(D), hopelessness, and or suicidal ideology PLEASE CONTACT US TODAY.

Parrish, Florida SPARTA Cohort | May 10–15 – Now Accepting Participants

We are now accepting participants for our upcoming SPARTA Cohort taking place May 10–15.

SPARTA is a 5½-day cohort designed for veterans and first responders, bringing together a small group for a week built around challenge, connection, and authentic camaraderie.

This experience offers a chance to step away from the daily grind and spend meaningful time with others who understand the unique paths and experiences of service.

Through shared challenges, time outdoors, and powerful conversations, participants build lasting connections and leave with a renewed sense of perspective and support.

To preserve the depth of the experience, cohorts are intentionally kept small, and spots fill quickly.

If you—or someone you know—may benefit from this opportunity, we encourage you to reach out and learn more.
