Signing that lease was one of the scariest moments of my career.
I had done it before in the Bay. I understood leases. I understood risk. But this was different.
Twice the rent. Twice the commitment. A shopping center anchored by Target, Big 5, and Sprouts. We weren’t the scrappy startup tucked into a quiet plaza anymore — we were stepping into a space built for operators who think bigger.
Truthfully, I was surprised we even qualified.
I reached out to a designer I had admired for years, hoping she would bring the vision to life. Her timeline did not match ours. In hindsight, that was a gift. It pushed me to trust my own eye, my own instincts, and to build something that felt deeply aligned instead of outsourced.
Every inch of this space was designed intentionally.
Not just aesthetically — strategically.
I applied every lesson from my first med spa:• Flow that protects provider ergonomics and longevity• Treatment rooms positioned for efficiency and discretion• Lighting calibrated for precision work and patient comfort• Layout decisions that support both revenue and experience
We didn’t just design a beautiful space. We designed a system.
And we were hands-on in ways most people never see. When the painter who said he could lime wash the walls didn’t quite deliver the finish we envisioned, we rolled up our sleeves and did it ourselves. Not out of frustration — but because details matter.
The space is perfect — for us.
Not because it’s extravagant. But because it reflects intention, ownership, and growth.
We get to show up every day to a company we built. We get to care for patients who trust us with their confidence and their health. We get to create experiences that blend clinical precision with human connection — where treatments turn into glow-ups, conversations turn into breakthroughs, and appointments end with more than just results… they end with laughter and renewed self-belief.
This isn’t just a med spa.
It’s proof that calculated risk, disciplined vision, and heart can coexist.
And we are just getting started.
With gratitude,
