I want to thank all of my patients and referring providers that have supported me and allowed me to participate in their care for the last 8 years in Merced. I have made the difficult decision to close my office in Merced and join City of Hope in Los Angeles. I hope we can all still meet on this page to share experiences and support each other in the years to come. I will be monitoring the site and answer questions as needed. Dr. Dortha Chu, a breast surgeon in Merced, will host a breast health seminar Tuesday in efforts to help women understand the importance of self-examination and early screenings. The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. on the third floor of the Mercy Medical Pavilion.

Ok, here is the inaugural post for my new page created specifically for my office. I hope this area becomes a nice forum for my patients to share helpful information and support with each other as well as a way for me to update everyone of new advancements in the treatment of breast cancer. There is still work to be done on the site, I know, but I would welcome any suggestions. Thanks!
