We’ve heard all the jokes about physical therapy being a form of torture. However, it’s essential to understand that while physical therapy may initially cause some discomfort, it should never aggravate your symptoms in a way that worsens your condition.

This is why we start every patient with an evaluation that helps determine the treatment plan that’s best suited to the individual. Then we progress gradually, staying within your tolerance of discomfort and closely monitoring for any sign of aggravation while focusing on proper technique.
