Starting July 23rd, you will see the "tariff tax" added to our price. Because I am also a horse owner, I know how expensive it is to keep our dear friends healthy. The base price will remain the same and the tariff tax will be adjusted up or down depending on what I have to pay with each shipment. If your Hock Shields still have more life in them but the straps are shot, you can get a replacement set of straps. These straps are for the original Hock Shield style only, NOT for the HS Ultra. They come with two straps per package and will allow you to use your shields for their full lifespan ☺️

Tariff reality Part 2:

“The tariff has dropped down to 30%”… well let’s take a look at that. The 25% tariff that was imposed during the first Trump term is still in effect. I asked my Customs broker “what will my tariff be for the next 90 days?” This is what he sent me:

• base tariff: 2.8%
• section 301 tariff: 25% (1st Trump tariff)
• IEPPA Fentanyl tariff: 20%
• Reciprocal tariff: 10%

The actual tariff I will have to pay is 57.8%. The next order was cut in half so I can afford to pick up the shipment. The cost for a $10k order will be $15,780. Even Walmart can’t absorb that much of an increase without raising prices, plus I am likely to run out of product. Yes, it is better than the 172.8% we were facing before this drop, but these tariffs will still end up hurting ALL Americans. Multiply this situation by the majority of companies and products...Buckle up!

Why do I want to stay in business? The picture of a hock sore is from a new customer in Germany. Some horses get these nasty sores and our Hock Shields are the best hock protectors in the world.
