I've noticed an uptick in patients NEEDING to have their phone with them while receiving treatment. I sent the following out with my email to this week's patients.
📱Let's talk about cell phones while receiving treatment. I know it's a touchy subject. Here's the bottom line. When the body shifts into parasympathetic mode there is relaxation, sometimes a nap, sometimes there are even stomach noises (organ music!). Parasympathetic is where the body can self regulate and heal. You will have a better chance of shifting if your attention is NOT on your phone or potentially on the phone. That said, it's your choice. I understand that it is hard to break the phone habit. If you would like assistance let's work something out.
