This is extremely important for ALS. Motor neuron energy metabolism is key to the beginning and spread of the disease and oxygen adaptation is central to cellular metabolism.

The prize was awarded to William G. Kaelin Jr., Peter J. Ratcliffe and Gregg L. Semenza for discoveries about how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability.

For a caregiver alert system we recommend these three units used together as a whole. It's a great safety system for PALS. Eric Valor uses this as his solution and it works very well.
