Our mission is to respond and support the changing health care needs of our community. Welcome to Dominican Hospital Foundation's page.

The mission of the Dominican Hospital Foundation is to ensure that philanthropic resources are available to respond and support the changing health care needs of the people within the area served by Dominican Hospital. As a non-profit hospital and center for health, Dominican relies on voluntary contributions to help meet the changing healthcare needs of our community. Donations large and small enable the Dominican Hospital Foundation to subsidize services, underwrite outreach programs and help purchase new technology that would not otherwise be available in a community our size. The Dominican Hospital Foundation is ready to assist you in developing a personal, charitable expression that will benefit our community for years to come. Some gift programs also provide the donor with lifetime income and significant tax benefits. As we step into 2026, the Dominican Hospital Foundation reflects on a year of profound impact, made possible by our dedicated community and partners. In 2025, your support enabled us to cut the ribbon on our new Mobile Wellness Clinic, fund various program and technologies through the Women of Wellness (WoW) Council, and even support local mammography and wellness events.

Dominican Hospital Foundation is hosting a FREE Mammography and Wellness Screening Event offered through Dominican Hospital's Katz Cancer Resource Center and Mobile Wellness Clinic.

What you need to know:

⏰ Time: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
📍 Location: El Mercado Popular Farmers Market, 2601 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076

Services Offered:
Cancer Screening and prevention education
Diabetes and blood pressure screenings and education
On-the-spot general health check-ups

Mammography Eligibility Criteria:
Women over 40 years old
Not currently pregnant
Has been at least one year since last mammogram
