Health Education Opportunity!

Join us for a 2-hour skill-building session where you will learn about pain, gain pain relief skills, and create a personal plan for pain relief. All participants receive a free binaural relaxation audio-file and gain skills for use right away. Participants may be experiencing chronic or episodic pain pre or post surgery; invite a family member or friend to register as well for extra support. Empowered Relief is an evidence-based program developed by pain psychologists at Stanford University.

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Join us for an upcoming Prostate Cancer Forum led by urologist Dr. Alex Kasman. He'll lead the discussion on important topics such as erectile dysfunction and stress urinary incontinence after prostate cancer treatment.

This event is hosted by the Katz Cancer Resource Center and the Santa Cruz County Prostate Cancer Support Group.

Congratulations to all the program graduates!

Want to hear something cool? Dominican Hospital's first cohort of its National Nursing Residency Program graduated this week!

“It has been a privilege to bring together the Dominican Hospital team to support these new nurses through their first year of professional practice. Over the past year, these individuals have grown into confident, independent nurses eager to provide quality patient care and improve practice,” said Erica Nelson, MBA, MSN, RN, National Nurse Residency Program Site Coordinator. “We are incredibly proud of them.”
