This was my first stay at a Secrets resort, It was located on the most beautiful beach in the Dominican Republic. The family Resort is right next-door, and it’s an easy walk to get to. We were allowed to use the family resort, including The waterpark which was super fun! The pool bar was so nice and the water temperature was perfect. There were so many activities offered every day!
I taught yoga every morning at 9:15am and I taught a kids class three times at 10:30 am. One day I had 15 kids and they were so cute!! My students were so complementary and appreciative. The Entertainment staff was super fun and upbeat. Every morning Juliana greeted us, and gave us towels and water for yoga class. She was so cheerful and sweet, she did yoga with us, which made the class more fun.
There were two more fitbody professionals. One taught Pilates and TRX and another for Zumba in the ocean. I loved it all! There were also pool activities that I really enjoy such as fitness and yoga classes on the paddle boards in the pool.
We arrived on Valentine’s Day, and had a couples massage which was excellent! It was the best couple Massage I’ve had. It was started with a brief ceremony that was so touching it made me emotional and the massage was wonderful!
We hung out on the beach and hard-working servers make sure we had water and something to drink.
Zumba in the Ocean was super fun. The instructor, Alicia was easy to follow. Esteban, and several other entertainment staff, danced with us and made the whole experience feel like a party in the ocean.
We enjoyed the food, lots of variety and restaurants to choose from. The evening shows were great and all of the musicians and dancers were amazing. Our room was wonderful and beautifully cleaned every day.
We took out the paddle boards and hobie kat sail boat and did the sunset cruise which was the best most fun sunset cruise we’ve ever had!
Overall, I see why this resort is so recommended. Because I enjoyed Secrets more than some other resorts I've been to, I’m interested in vacationing in other Secret resorts in the future.
