My dear friends, my community, I love you with all of my heart. I have sat down to write this message more times that I can count over the last few weeks as this horrible tragedy has unfolded. I am at a loss for words. I can only feel. I feel love, sorrow for your loss...our loss. I feel deep concern and eternal gratitude for the powerful time that we shared together. I have had each of you in my constant prayers. I miss the Shakti Yoga Shala with all of my being. Together we created an incredible place of community, learning and growth.

Although life circumstances necessitated that I physically leave Boulder Creek I have never left you in my heart. Your pain is my pain. I am here for you. I still practice, I still teach, I still advocate for people who need help the most. Please let me know what you need. I am here for you. I am so very sorry for your loss, our loss and the devastation. Please reach out to me anytime. Please feel free to use this page as a platform to share your thoughts, feelings and needs. Happy New Year!

One of our intentions for the New Year is to spend more quality time with our extended family and friends. The last couple of years have been a very inward, time focusing on healing our hearts, getting Kiran and Lakota into a place where they are thriving and finding and establishing a healthy home.

We are grateful to say that we have made great strides in all departments and we hope to see and spend time with all of you in 2018. We also aim to have regular phone calls or Face Time with those of you who live afar. Our doors are always open, we love and cherish our family and community. We support you and your family’s ventures and adventures and hope that the New Year transforms all of our challenges into talismans of love and joy.

Hi Shala Friends!

Whew what an intense past few years. I miss you. Last week I was subbing at the Pacific Cultural Center. I was just about in tears when I walked in the door. After I taught I felt amazing. My teacher in India always told me that "Seva" or selfless service is the best way to get out of your own way. For the past couple of years I have been physically unable to teach...especially at rate I had in the past.

I am feeling so much better thanks to time, the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber and Osteopathy. I am elated that tonight I am starting to teach my first regular public class in a very long time.

Starting tonight- December 19th (all variable willing) I will be teaching a level 2-3 class from 5:45PM-7:15PM at the Pacific Cultural Center.

Dear Friends! I deeply appreciate my family at La Ventana. I am so full on with Heart Farm & the Harbor Health Center that I need to let my regular class go at La Ventana. I am committed to getting workshops & trainings going there and I will get on planning that as soon as I can...🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Please remember that Yoga 9 is open and many people who have taught & trained at the Shala are teaching there. Peggy Peggy Galusha is holding down the Wednesday AM class, she is awesome! Be sure to check out all the classes and teachers if you have not already.
