Erica Ives is an attuned therapist, author, educator, and speaker who strongly believes in the healing power of reciprocity and authentic connection to self, others, and the world. It is time to find freedom and help others do the same from imprisoning and insidious eating disorders and addiction. There are so many topics that are affecting our youth, adults, families which need to be talked about and addressed by each other, communities, professionals. Topics ranging from mental health issues, drug and alcohol abuse, su***de, bullying, addictions, parenting, eating disorders, divorce, domestic violence, infidelity, trauma, abuse, r**e, teen pregnancy, social media and our youth, rebellious teens, adolescent issues, to dealing with unexpected tragedies resulting in loss of loved ones, homes, personal belongings, and neighborhoods. Right here, right now...... It takes agency, courage, curiosity, strength, determination, self-reflection, and a sense of connectedness to self, others, and the world around you. If not now, when? YOU GOT THIS.....You don't and won't have all the answers now for what comes next, nor do you need to. Answers will be revealed if you stand up and take that first step, and make sure to deeply breathe every step of the way. One step mindfully at a time, and believe in yourself. Surround yourself with safe people and access your own internal safety. Check in with others because we all need guidance and support. Reflect before taking the next step, and work to connect with and make decisions from your wise mind. Stay open-minded, curious, and willing to tap into your intuition.

Right here, right now, because just by reading this, you already took the first step....Stand up and summon your strength.
