Too young for colon cancer? 🚨

At just 21, Rebecca faced a frightening reality—blood in her stool that was repeatedly dismissed by her previous doctors as “just hemorrhoids.” Years later, at PIH Health, her primary care doctor referred her to gastroenterologist Alexander Kim DO who discovered a large cancerous polyp while performing a colonoscopy. Thanks to early intervention, Rebecca avoided surgery and chemotherapy—and today, at 25, she’s cancer-free and thriving.
