✨STAFF SPOTLIGHT✨
Hello! I’m Melissa Cox, MS, CCC-SLP, a certified speech-language pathologist and telehealth provider based in beautiful northwest Montana. Since 2012, I’ve been delivering high-quality remote speech therapy services from my home office, helping clients of all ages achieve their communication goals

I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Montana in Missoula—Go Griz! Before pursuing speech therapy, I spent several years as an educator, teaching third grade and junior high students in English and art. That classroom experience laid the foundation for my collaborative, patient-centered approach to therapy.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked as a remote SLP for both public schools and private clinics. My telehealth practice allows me to:
– Serve clients from age 1 through seniors
– Provide flexible scheduling to fit busy family routines
– Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and educators

I’ve had the pleasure of supporting individuals with a wide variety of communication needs, including:
– Social communication disorders
– Fluency (stuttering) disorders
– Receptive and expressive language delays
– Autism spectrum disorders
– Voice disorders
– Oral‐facial myofunctional therapy

I believe successful therapy is built on teamwork. By working together with families and other professionals, I create meaningful, individualized goals and evidence-based programs. I strive to make each session engaging, supportive, and tailored to the client’s unique strengths and challenges.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I look forward to partnering with you and your family to unlock your communication potential!

✨STAFF SPOTLIGHT✨
My name is Briana Flores and I’m beginning my clinical fellowship as a speech-language pathologist. I am a Mexican-American, born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico who’s bilingual in English and Spanish.

My passion for speech-language pathology began during a two-year internship at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in high school, where I shadowed a variety of professions and specialties. After being introduced to the field, my interest continued to grow throughout my undergraduate studies and ultimately inspired me to pursue my master’s degree.

I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and with diverse communication needs, including articulation, expressive and receptive language, stuttering, multilingualism, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), swallowing/feeding, cognition, pragmatics, and voice.
I use evidence-based, holistic approaches that emphasize patient-centered, tailored goals and treatment. My therapy style is neurodivergent-friendly, engaging, motivating, and meaningful.

My education is as follows:
● Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (2025)
    ○ University of New Mexico (UNM)
● Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders; Minor in Linguistics (2023)
    ○ New Mexico State University (NMSU)
● Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language – Spanish; Minor in Psychology (2023)
    ○ New Mexico State University (NMSU)
● Distinction in University Honors and Dean’s List for all degrees

My hobbies include reading, traveling, golfing, yoga, collecting vinyl records, gaming, and cooking/baking! :)
