Dear Friends and patients, I hope this letter finds you in good health. It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you of the decision to dissolve Rio Family Functional Medicine, effective immediately.
This decision has not been made lightly and is the result of a combination of factors that have impacted our ability to sustain the practice. Our lease agreement for our current location is coming to an end, and despite our best efforts, we have been unable to secure a suitable new space that aligns with our needs and financial considerations. This has created a significant challenge for the continuity of our services.
In addition to the lease issue, we have been facing a shortage of nursing personnel and medical providers, which has strained our ability to provide the level of care our patients deserve. The difficulties stemming from the Covid-19 pandemic have only exacerbated these challenges, making it increasingly difficult for us to navigate these circumstances.
After careful consideration, we believe that the responsible course of action is to dissolve the practice. We are immensely grateful for the trust and support our patients have shown us over the years. It is our hope that they will be able to find alternative medical care that meets their needs.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff, patients, and partners who have been part of the Rio Family Functional Medicine journey. We are proud of the care we have been able to provide and regret any inconvenience this decision may cause.
