Hare-ison is a royal jackrabbit. I wanted to create an hare that exudes confidence. He is running into the sun. I wanted to flex color theory by taking my rich buttery purple/ violet Terry Ludwig pastels and highlight them with deep warm yellows. Giving him a royal coat. His eyes are looking forwards into a bright future.

Fall always feels like the season for comfort, good books, and meaningful art. It’s one of my favorite times to wander through a museum and just take it all in.
