The pandemic has not been kind to our lower backs. Since 2020, there's been an uptick in people with lower back pain, associated with poor ergonomics and being less active due to working from home. A physical therapist shares one exercise she does every day to relieve backaches.

In an age of tech and machines, sometimes the best tool a physical therapist can use to get to the heart of a patient's pain is touch, which is a big part of Therapy Solution's two-pronged method of using manual therapy, like limb manipulation and stretching, with physical exercise. Plus, the practice was started by a group of friends who like to laugh a lot, which produces a light-hearted and healing environment.

Important notice to our clients and referring physicians,

In the last few weeks our nation's healthcare system has been battling the coronavirus known as Covid-19. This virus continues to spread across the nation and while Santa Fe only has a few confirmed cases its not the time to be complacent or lackadaisical. In fact we strongly feel the only way for our community to effectively combat this virus is thru social distancing.

As therapists we always weigh the "risk vs reward" scenario and simply feel the risk is too great for our clients and staff. With this said we have made the difficult decision to CLOSE BOTH CLINICS for the next 2 weeks effective immediately. Our intention is to re-open on tuesday march 31st, but we recognize that date is only tentative. Our front desk will be calling to reschedule upcoming appointments, and to connect our clients with their therapists for any questions and ongoing guidance they can provide. We know this will impact you and we are truly sorry we cannot serve you at this time. It is our hope that this short closure will ultimately protect our clients and our community. Please stay safe, stay home , and stay healthy.
