Professional Background and Experience:

Cynthia Fulreader, MA, LPC has a Master's Degree in Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe. She also studied at Columbia University School of Social Work in NYC, Trinity College in Hartford, CT, and got her Bachelor's Degree in Social Change through Education at the School for International Training's World Issues Program in Putney, Vt. s Director of a Youth Service Bureau in Old Lyme, CT for many years, and also did community advocacy work in Bolivia, Peru, and on the Cheyenne River Lakota Sioux Reservation in South Dakota, before coming to Santa Fe. Cynthia has been an Adult, Couples, Child & Family Therapist in private practice in Santa Fe since 1992. Concurrent to her private practice, she has worked as a therapist in the following organizations: New Vistas Early Childhood Program; University of New Mexico Children's Hospital - Neonatal Unit; Su Vida Behavioral Health, which is now part of PMS Community Guidance Center / Santa Fe Wellness; and Southwest Family Guidance Center. Cynthia was the Director of the Children's Project at United Way of Santa Fe County, and helped establish free PreK and family programs. Cynthia has also worked as a Bi-lingual Elementary School Counselor with the Santa Fe Public Schools. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Masters in Counseling program at Southwestern College in Santa Fe, and also the Director of the Children's Mental Health Certificate Program at Southwestern College.
