I am a Certified Hanna Somatic Educator offering 1-on-1 sessions and group classes in Santa Fe, NM and globally online.

It is my desire to support others to reach their goals, whether it is increased mobility, less pain, feeling embodied or relaxation. I offer Hanna Somatic Education classes and private sessions online and in-person in Santa Fe, NM. This practice is designed to work with chronic tension and pain in the body and help ease limitations, pain and lack of coordination. I trained at the Novato Institute for Somatic Research & Training.

Noticing when pain isn't there is a huge win! I was so excited when a client shared that she is starting to notice these moments when she is out and about.

While humans are known to have a negativity bias (negative events/situations having a greater impact on us than positive or neutral situations), being able to notice the positive or neutral moments when they arise is really important. For those of us who have lived with chronic pain, it is a shift that helps us to build trust that we are safe to do more and explore more.

I have worked with a number of clients experiencing spinal injuries, herniations, stenosis, scoliosis, and spinal surgery. My goal is to meet you where you are at without assuming that the pain, struggles, or limitations you are experiencing are just like another client.

This 3-week class series will take you on an exploration of your gluteal muscles, groin muscles and their relationships to your pelvis, sacroiliac joints, pelvic floor, spine, and legs. By using gentle Hanna Somatic movements, you will learn ways to release tension and limitation in these areas in order to ease pain, increase movement literacy, and experience deeper rest in your body.

The Glutes & Groins Series is an in-person class series offered at Quail Run in Santa Fe. If you are a member at Quail Run, please join me! If you are not a member, stay tuned! I will offer this series again at another studio.
