They are very particular about the independent contractors who join them, hiring only those who have great skill and excellent hands, and who also love their work. Most of our therapists have been with us for years and have thriving practices with a majority of repeat clients. We consider all of our therapists to be Master Level Therapists, and several of them are also instructors of massage, Rolfing ® or acupuncture. As a group practice, we encourage our clients to try each of us in order to find multiple therapists who can meet their needs. With four treatment rooms and twenty therapists, we are big enough to provide a wide range of therapeutic modalities and treatment styles, yet small enough to give excellent individual, professional care. Simply put, we are all happy to be here doing what we love, and it shows in all aspects of the business. We offer Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, Acupuncture, Rolfing ® Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, Shiatsu/Acupressure, Hands and Feet Reflexology Massage, Prenatal Massage, Reiki, and Lymph Drainage Therapy. You don't have to choose just one...most of these therapies can be received individually, combined, or integrated into a Swedish massage, depending on your preference and needs.

Rolf Method Structural Integration is a hands-on bodywork therapy for creating greater ease, improving posture, decreasing symptoms of pain and discomfort, and speeding recovery from injuries. Structural Integration (SI) addresses the underlying causes of pain by working on the strain patterns that occur throughout the entire body. Structural Integrators assess the range of motion in joints and limbs, observe walking patterns and posture, then work the muscles, fascia, ligaments and joints to create more length, increased range of motion, improved posture and flexibility. Often done as a series of ten treatments to get at the root causes of pain, individual sessions are useful for quick relief of specific symptoms. All of High Desert's Structural Integrators graduated from an internationally certified program and were massage therapists prior to training in SI.

WE'RE OPEN!!
We are starting back with a "soft opening", not all our therapists are returning at this time, we are keeping sessions to 1 hour and for a limited time will only be welcoming back our "return locals." We hope it won't be long before we can open our doors to all!

On Thursday May 28, our Governor gave "massage services" the green light to open at a limited capacity. We are so happy to be open and seeing you again soon. Each of you needs to decide for yourself when you will feel safe returning to HDHM for massage and bodywork. To that end, we have spent much time developing extensive and thorough protocols that follow the recommendations of the CDC, the NM State Dept. of Health and our professional organizations. Listed below are procedures we've put into place to keep you, our therapists and our staff as healthy and safe as possible. We've also included links to guidelines from the CDC, the AMTA and from the State. Since we are starting back with a "soft opening", not all our therapists are returning at this time, we are keeping sessions to 1 hour and for a limited time will only be welcoming back our "return locals." We hope it won't be long before we can open our doors to all!
