Our Winter Learn to Skate session will start on January 17!! Classes will be held January 17, 24, 31, February 7, 21, 28 (no classes February 14 due to Presidents’ Day weekend).

Classes are 30-min each and the registration fee for the 6-week session is $129 per skater for the session.

We are also holding a Try Skating for Free event on January 10 with 20-min sessions at 10:30 AM, 10:55 AM, and 11:25 AM.

We have Club Ice today - Tuesday, November 25 at 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM. This is a free session for all current members of the Santa Fe Skating Club.

Please tell the GCCC front desk that you are there for private ice. If you need rental skates, you will need to pay the $3 rental fee.

The Chavez Center ice rink has reopened!! We are resuming our weekly Club Ice sessions this Tuesday, November 18 at 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM. To skate on our Club Ice sessions you need to be a current member of the Santa Fe Skating Club. (Current members of other U.S. Figure Skating clubs can pay a $20 guest fee and skate on the sessions.)

If you want to skate on Club Ice this Tuesday, November 18, and are not a current club member, you need to submit your membership renewal by 3:00 PM today (Sunday, November 16). Membership renewal is online at https://www.cognitoforms.com/SantaFeSkatingClub/_202526SantaFeSkatingClubMembership

The GCCC ice rink is scheduled to reopen this weekend with a reopening celebration on Saturday at 4:00 PM.

🕓 4:15–5:30 p.m. – Old Timers Hockey
🕔 5:45–7 p.m. – Disco Skate

“Tammy Berendzen, president of the Santa Fe Skating Club, said she hopes the repairs and improvements happening now mean rink users will not face another extended closure in the future.”

The rink was previously projected to reopen at the end of July but shifted due to difficulty finding a contractor and city budget procurement rules.
