Dear Devotees and Friends,

As you may know, Santa Fe Meditation Circle is in transition and needs to find a new location for our services. This could mean an affordable rental space, someone's home, a shared space or another location. If you know of a possible place, please let us know by contacting: santafe.srf@gmail.com

Also, we need volunteers to help search for a new location. Please consider if you could help serve Master's work in Santa Fe by serving on a search committee.

Please join the Santa Fe Meditation Circle of SRF for the All-Day Christmas meditation December 14, 2023. If you can only attend in the morning, you are most welcome. See details below:
Jai Guru

All-Day Christmas Meditation

The all-day Christmas Meditation will be held December 14, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the same location where our Sunday services are held. You are warmly welcome to attend this inspiring day of meditation, readings and chants. Guruji established the custom of commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ by dedicating a day of divine communion prior to December 25, which is traditionally observed as the social Christmas with festivities among relatives and friends.
The day will consist of two periods of meditation and an intermission. If you can only attend for part of the day, please come in the morning. No one will be admitted for only the afternoon portion. There will be a mid-day intermission. Feel free to bring personal shawls, meditation mats, cushions, arm rests for practice of the Aum Meditation Technique etc.
How to prepare:
• Eat lightly (or not at all, if you prefer) before coming to the meditation. Do not bring food of any kind to the meditation (except an offering of fruit which will be shared as prasad at the conclusion of the day).

• Come in a silent, devotional mood. Make a special effort to put aside all thoughts of the outside world for this one day, and strive to keep your whole heart and mind occupied with God alone.

• Anyone with a cough or a cold or is sneezing should not attend the meditation.
• You may bring a monetary donation as an offering at the altar.
• Members should arrive a little early so they will have time to become comfortably settled and calm before the meditation begins. Devotees should dress warmly and comfortably, so you will be able to forget about the body. Wear loose clothing that is not restrictive and avoid any noise clothing such as nylon. You may practice the Energization Exercises if you come early as well as during the intermission.
• For more information, contact santafe.srf@gmail.com
