On-snow work days hit different. Helping two clients return to skiing after season ending injuries gave new perspective to return to sport. Here’s a checklist of things your PT should be doing prior to going back to sport:
✔️ force testing with dynamometer
✔️ triple hop jump testing
✔️ running deceleration and jump landing assessment
✔️ neuro-cognitive training during strength and plyometric movements
Too often, my clients come to me saying their insurance ran out after 2 months so I have set out to fill the gap in skilled PT care.
