I’ve been reflecting on how feeling disconnected from ourselves and our bodies is not a personal failure — but more of a symptom of the times we are living in.
Many of us are moving quickly, holding uncertainty, absorbing constant information, and navigating systems that pull us away from listening to ourselves.
Yoga helps me remember that connection is something we can practice. Not to fix ourselves, but to gently come back into relationship with our bodies, our breath, and each other.
I wrote more about this reflection in my latest blog, exploring belonging, embodiment, and remembering our interconnectedness.

If this resonates, I’d love to hear what helps you feel connected to yourself.
There is a cultural current many of us are swimming in — often called Whiteness. Not simply referring to skin color, but to a dominant cultural conditioning that quietly teaches us to see ourselves as separate: separate from each other, separate from nature, and often separate from our own bodies.
