Yesterday, our team hosted a Holiday Traditions event filled with meaningful moments and delicious flavors. Residents enjoyed Green Chile Stew, Red Chile Pork Tamales, and sweet Natillas for dessert while crafting farolitos and learning about their special significance.

In Northern New Mexico, farolitos are placed on Christmas Eve to light the way for the Holy Family. This cherished tradition—candles in paper bags—symbolizes guiding lights and traces its roots back to Spanish bonfires celebrating the birth of Jesus, leading into midnight mass and gift-giving. 🎄✨
