Blood screening allows veterinarians to evaluate organ function, check for abnormalities, and monitor overall health. These tests can sometimes detect early signs of illness, including infections or other medical conditions that may not yet be visible.

Early detection often allows for quicker treatment and better outcomes, helping pets stay healthier for longer.

Everyone knows that our pets love to act like everything is fine, until 7pm hits on a Friday night, or Sunday morning when you wake up to a mess on your floor, and your usual vet is closed for the weekend!

We understand that, and that's why we have knowledgeable support staff that monitors our messages throughout the weekend at 8am, 12pm, and 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. We can help address urgent concerns or questions to provide ongoing support until we can see you in for an appointment the following Monday.

Our Story

Receiving the news that your pet has cancer can be devastating, but a cancer diagnosis doesn’t have to mean your friend can’t live a fulfilling life. At Veterinary Cancer Care, we strive to find effective treatment options that eradicate and manage cancer while preserving your companion’s energy and personality. Since 2004, Dr. Kelly has been treating pets with cancer and promoting whole-body animal wellness. With her experience, she isn’t surprised by much as she continues to use treatment methods that have been proven to work and cutting-edge technology that shows early clinical promise. At Veterinary Cancer Care, not only do we practice effective medicine, but we do so in an atmosphere of respect and love. We see patients in our offices in Santa Fe, NM right off I-25 at the St. Francis exit.
