Welcome to folks who are interested in learning how to support the well-being trees.

What are some ways we can creatively contribute to the ecosystems we are part of?
Colonial capitalism tells us that humans are consumers, objectifying and exploiting each other and the natural world. But this is a distorted and limited view. It’s one that we all suffer from, and one that, frankly. Is boring and disempowering.

The truth is we need the earth and all of the beings in our ecosystems, and our ecosystems need us. We are all one family, and we have the capacity to positively affect one another.

In this workshop we will cover the basic skills for supporting trees with homeopathy, and we will initiate a healing process that you will witness unfolding in some way over time.

I am not a trained homeopath. I do have extensive experience with homeopathic remedies for myself and my critters, and have found homeopathy to be one of the most powerful components for myself in healing from chronic illness. The homeopath I work with showed me how to make remedies for trees and gave me permission to pass on this form of no-cost/low-cost community and ecological care.

You will need a tree friend, a glass or plastic container, some water, and a few other optional items - see event for more details.

For this study and action group, we will focus on the US/Israel gen*cide against Palestinians. The purpose of this workshop is to support folks in having a basic framework of what is happening based on the perspectives of human rights organizations and on the ground reporting.

Who Is this workshop for?

This workshop is for anyone who is interested in exploring more human rights literacy and taking simple actions together in support of human rights. We also welcome anyone with experience in human rights work who would like to share their perspectives. If folks want to continue this series, we hope to invite guests to share their experience with us.

Further, multiply marginalized autistic people are often not identified as autistic, and are especially endangered by misperceptions of our affect and behavior.

We will cover some common differences between autistic and allistic (non-autistic) perception, processing, expression, values, relationality, trauma patterns, and the resulting differences in care needs and boundaries to support autistic thriving.

Whether you are an autistic person who is navigating care services, an autistic or allistic care provider, or someone who wants to be more understanding and supportive of autistic people in your life, this workshop is intended to support your capacity to recognize and advocate for appropriate and life-giving responses to autistic care needs.

In this participatory workshop, we will focus on unpacking the spoken and unspoken pressures and premises that domination relies on perpetuate itself. We will explore how these show up in our bodies and lives and what reframes or rooting might nourish us and our healing power.

This is a workshop for those of us who are struggling with overwhelm, fear, confusion, explosiveness, freezing, heartbreak, rage, erasure, futility, exhaustion, self-doubt, or feeling tongue-tied around the current genocides occurring in the world, or around the general dynamics of domination or injustice that are so pervasive, this workshop is a space is intended to support each other in exploring what we may be struggling with relative to having an empowered response to harm, and what doorways to liberation we can find together.
