I obtained my 235-hour yoga teaching certification from Devanadi Yoga School in south Minneapolis at the beautiful Lake Harriet Spiritual Community Center in 2020. Devanadi yoga falls under the Parayoga program, created by one of the top yoga teachers in the US, Rod Stryker, from New York. Training focused on Tantric Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, Ayurveda and Energy Medicine. I've studied the Hatha Yoga
Pradipika, as well as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. I had the honor of being taught by skilled, insightful and strong accomplished yogis, as well as developing my own yoga sangha. I also studied Classical Hatha Yoga at a Yoga ashram in Bangladesh the winter of 2015, at the Indira Gandhi Center in Dhaka. I am a firm believer in ritual, as it offers a direct access to spiritual enlightenment, and Tantric is merely observation and applied practice. Combining diet, natural medicine and sleep methods in Ayurveda, allows an individual to take charge of their own well-being and holding themselves accountable for self improvement. Asana and vinyasa are stepping stones and breath work, catered to individualize each physical body and showing a map to obtain your own physical optimal health, and lastly, energy medicine is the essence of the universe itself and tapping our souls in balance with nature and our own personal karma. There is no one who cannot do at least one asana and everyone can meditate, chant, align their breath and cleanse their energy! I would like to show you how powerful you are, and introduce you to tools to lasting confidence, mental clarity and vitality one breath and one asana at a time!
