Yesterday, we conducted a training to authorize 15 of our EMTs as “EMT AED SERVICE PROVIDERS”, now that we have been authorized as an EMT AED SERVICE PROVIDER.

During the training, we certified that everyone was trained in CAM or “Pit Crew CPR” which is what they use in Santa Barbara County.

The purpose of this training was to make that our EMTs could integrate into a cardiac arrest scene with the Santa Barbara County Fire Agencies and AMR.

A huge THANK YOU to our EMS Captains, Jonathan Huffman and Matthew Wieland for conduction the training session and to all our our EMTs that attended.

THAT’s a WRAP on 2025:

This past week and weekend we wrapped up 2025.

First on Wednesday 12/17, Saturday 12/20 and Sunday 12/21, we wrapped the 2025 polo season at La Herradura Polo. We/ provided 1 EMT for club chukker practices.

Finally, on Friday, 12/19. Saturday, 12/20, and Sunday, 12/21, we wrapped up our EMS standby for the “Christmas at the Ranch” event at Santa Margarita Ranch. The event promoter asked us back again for their 2026 “Christmas at the Ranch” event.

We would like to give a HUGE shout out to our all our EMS professionals that stepped up week after week, and weekend after weekend to cover events all year long, sometimes we would have to cover multiple events over a weekend.

We are happy to report a couple of milestones that the business has achieved in the past few months.

First, on September 15th, 2025, our application packet to become a Continuing Education (CE) Provider and EMT Skills signer was approved by the Santa Barbara County Emergency Medical Services Authority (SBC EMSA)

With this approval, we can now offer CEs to EMT for their every 2 year recertification cycle and sign them off on their skills for recertification.

We already issued our first CE certificate to a EMT that recently attended a Stop The Bleed class.

Then on Friday, December 19th, 2025, we were notified that our application to be AUTHORIZED as a "EMT AED SERVICE PROVIDER" was approved by SBC EMSA. We are now recognized as an EMS agency in Santa Barbara County. The nice thing is that the authorization is recognized state-wide, so we can provide our AED services in any county in CA.

Finally, while we are a "home-based" business, we now have a "Training Space" at the Flow Community Workspace here in Santa Maria. We will now be able to hold public and company training classes at this location.

We are looking forward to an exciting and busy 2026!!!

It was another busy week / weekend for the business:

First, on Wednesday, December 3rd, we provided 1EMT the polo practice at La Herradura Polo,

On Friday and Saturday, December 5th and 6th, we covered Days 3 and 4 of the "Christmas at the Ranch" event at Santa Margarita Ranch,

Also, on Saturday, December 6th, we provided 1 EMT for another polo practice at La Herradura Polo.

Finally, on Sunday, December 6th, we provided 1 EMT for the polo practice at La Herradura Polo.

It was another busy weekend for the business.

Once again we provided EMTs for multiple events in SLO and Santa Barbara Counties.

On Friday, November 28th ,we provided 1 EMT for the first night of “Christmas at the Ranch” event at Santa Margarita Ranch.

On Saturday morning, November 29th, we provided 1 EMT for polo practice at La Herradura Polo, at the same time we provided 2 EMTs for the 1st of 2 Monster Truck Shows at the Santa Maria Speedway. That evening we again staffed Night #2 of the “Christmas at the Ranch” event with 1 EMT. Finally, we finished off Saturday by again providing 2 EMTs for 2nd of two Monster Truck Shows.

On Sunday, November 30th, we once again provided 1 EMT for the club polo practice at La Herradura Polo.

Once again we are grateful to our EMS personnel that put in the time and commitment to help us staff multiple EMS events each weekend.

ALL LOADED UP AND READY TO GO:

We have been hired to provide our EMS for “Christmas at the Ranch”, the 3rd annual Santa Margarita Ranch Christmas market and festival.

We were brought in by the event company, Just Us Event Consulting, the same company that does the Whale Rock Music Festival.

The dates of Christmas at the Ranch:

The dates are:
Friday, November 28
Saturday, November 29
Friday, December 5
Saturday, December 6
Friday, December 12
Saturday, December 13
Friday, December 19
Saturday, December 20
Sunday, December 21

The operating hours are 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm on the above dates.

They have 2 actual steam engines that take the attendees around the ranch property to view all the lights.
