Today we conducted our 3rd CPR AED / First Aid class for 7 employees of Safran Seats.

This class was a “recertification” class for employees that we trained last year ( yes, they recertified early, they weren’t due until March of 2026).

We are happy for our partnership with Safran Seats to help them make their work place safer.

Today we promoted our business and provided onsite medical services, if needed, at the SESLOC “Day in the Park” event at Waller Park.

Our day started off with 2 medical calls even before the event started. We were called for a patron with a cut finger and a person that stepped in one of the numerous holes in the park and twisted their ankle.

This was our second year attending this event.

On Thursday, August 14th, we presented Day 1 of 2 of an Adult First Aid / CPR /AED class for 13 employees of Safran Interiors (formerly Zodiac).

This was an “Initial Class”, meaning that the employees, except for 2 or 3, have never had CPR and / or First Aid training before.

I was really impressed by how quickly they picked up the CPR skills and what impressed me most when they were doing their practice skills evaluation for “Adult - One Provider CPR / AED” and everyone did GREAT with their rescue breathing and that’s usually the skill the students struggle with.

Today will be Day 2 and will mainly focus on the first aid skills.

On Friday, August 15th, we presented Day 2 of 2, Adult First Aid / CPR / AED for 13 employees of Safran Interiors.

We covered first aid for both trauma and medical emergencies.

Yesterday, August 14th, we presented Day 1 of 2 of an Adult First Aid / CPR /AED class for 13 employees of Safran Interiors (formerly Zodiac).

On Saturday evening, August 9th, we provided our EMS for the OASIS of Orcutt annual fundraiser at the Presqu’ile Winery in Santa Maria.

This year we were entertained by the local band, Tepusquet Tornados.

This was the 3rd time in 4 years that we have provided our EMS for this event.

Last night, we presented a Stop The Bleed class to the Vandenberg Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Composite Squadron 101 at their Santa Maria facility.

We taught 26 CAP cadets and 2 civilians to Stop The Bleed.

It was a great class and was well-received by all that attended.

This will give them additional knowledge that they can use in their ground searches, if necessary.

Thank you to CAP Composite Squadron 101 for having come that present this class and thank to SCS Logistics Officer James Hunter for assisting with teaching the class.

Yesterday we were at Chase Palm Park in Santa Barbara providing our EMS for the California Wine Festival.

Today, we are at See Canyon Fruit Ranch providing our EMS for festivalmozaic. This is our 4th year providing our EMS for this event.

We love that our clients put their trust in our services and call us back year after year.
