Today, on Veterans Day, the California State Assembly extends our heartfelt gratitude to the military personnel who have dedicated their lives to serving our country. We give special recognition to the veteran surgical technologists who have transitioned their vital skills and unwavering commitment from military hospitals to our healthcare teams in California.

Thank you for bringing your precision, calm under pressure, and dedication to patient care. Your service, both in and out of uniform, is a testament to your professionalism and heroism.

This partnership helps bridge the gap by allowing students to get certified before starting clinicals. We’re excited to see more hospitals join in giving future CSTs valuable experience. Northern California Surgical Technologists this one is for you! We are happy to be coming back up north for our Northern Exposure II. This event includes 5 LIVE CEs, Lunch, and Networking! It is important we keep trying to bring events to Northern California because let’s be honest there is NOT enough exposure for CST/ST and students out there! If we want to change the law and advance our profession we need to let Northern California know we are there! Please join us in making this second event a success! If you know any surgical technologist up north please share this event! Also if you would like to get involved please let us know!

CA-SA arrived Tuesday night/ early Wednesday morning to all come together for the State Assembly Leadership Forum at AST National Conference. We are pleased to say all but one board member was able to attend. We are also joined by a couple active California members as well! Today marks day one of conference! If you are a California member here at conference please feel free to reach out and we can all get connected.
