Have you ever noticed that people often judge their past decisions using the knowledge they gained later, and that they regret the losses once awareness sets in, not in the moment? But if you hadn’t grown aware, would you ever have known?

This is called a hindsight bias, the tendency to believe that past events were more predictable after they have already happened.

Have you ever been unnecessarily harsh on yourself? We have to remember that decisions are always made with limited information, emotional context, and the experiences available at that moment.

Forgive yourself.

Growth is not about never making mistakes. It is about learning from experiences that only time could reveal and moving on.
