I had a brief interaction with Sue about a week and a half ago while she was walking her pup around the park. She asked what kind of ball I was using, and that about sums up our entire conversation.

I ran into her yesterday at the park again and said goodbye as she walked past to leave. About two minutes later I turned around and she was walking back toward me with a new glove and lacrosse ball in hand, and proceeded to have a little fun, some may say “exercise”, for the next 30 minutes by throwing a ball against a wall. Simple.

As we both left she told me she’s intending to join a softball league, and get back to playing like she did when she was a kid*.
