Craig Dunham The Rolf Method of Structural Integration

Craig Dunham The Rolf Method of Structural Integration Craig Dunham has been practicing the Rolf Method of Structural Integration since graduating from the Guild for Structural Integration in 2007.

The Rolf Method of Structural Integration is a process that, as the name implies, integrates the human structure, which can result in: decreased pain, better posture, more effortless movement and a sense of empowerment. He also has been practicing Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) since graduating from the
Stretch to Win Institute in 2011. Craig became both an Advanced Practitioner of the Rolf Method and a Level III FST practitioner in 2012. The Guild’s method of teaching is based on Dr. Rolf’s original method, 6 weeks of observation and then another 6 weeks of hands on practice, like an apprenticeship. Craig completed both in Boulder, CO. Later, Craig attended advanced training, 6 weeks, in Kauai to learn under one of the two hand-picked teachers by Dr. Ida Rolf. The Stretch to Win Institute offers week long seminars for each level (Level I, II and III). Craig trained in Tempe, AZ, where their headquarters are located, under the founders, Ann and Chris Frederick. For Craig the authenticity of the work is extremely important. Therefore, in both cases, he went directly to the source. This work has taken him to meeting so many people from all walks of life from all over the world. The work may not be for everyone, but anyone can benefit from it.

Ordinarily, about this time each year, I thank the Alvin Ailey Dance Company for the opportunity to work with them while they perform in SoCal. But, this is no ordinary time. So, I first want to wish everyone health and safety, while we are in the midst of the Corona Virus pandemic. My office has been, and will remain closed until local ordinances deem it safe to reopen.
With that said, I still want to thank the Alvin Ailey dancers for allowing us into their hearts and homes with their socially distanced rendition of “I Been Buked” from “Revelations”.
Enjoy!

This is belated, but, another awesome year (5 years in fact!) and opportunity, to work with the Alvin Ailey dancers (www.alvinailey.org) here in Los Angeles! What an awesome opportunity; they are not only amazing dancers, but people, as well.
Thanks also to Jay Bartley, it’s awesome working with you and your skill set! Jay is a Los Angeles based Structural Integration practitioner as well.
Looking forward to 2020!
