🫐Fruits: Berries (blueberries, strawberries), oranges, apples, cherries, grapes

A healthy day of eatsssss. My clients know each meal has to be PerFFCT. Not perfect 😉 but contain enough:

PROTEIN
FIBER
FAT
and CARBS

Most of us struggle with not getting enough protein and fiber. Not only does this create problems with satiety, blood sugar stabilization and maintaining muscle mass but protein is ESSENTIAL for building lean muscles, aiding in recovery after we exercise, regulating hormones and supporting our immune system 💪

The last week has been devastating. My heart breaks for my many friends, community, and good people of Los Angeles who have lost their homes during these rapid destructive fires.

Some have felt paralyzed, angry, grief, and sorrow. I’ve also seen so much rebuilding, strength, and love from this community that reinstates resiliency, support, and strength during these challenging times.

I’ve even felt incredibly conflicted about what to write or post as taking care of your nutrition seems like a far fetched luxury with everything that is going on during this crisis.

However, what I do know to be true is that it is the time to summon your strength and those around you, and the only way to do that is to take care of your body so that you can be strong and healthy to show up for you, your family, friends and your community. 🏡

For this who need anything please reach out as my community is collecting a myriad of resources for those in need. ❤️‍🩹
