OM is a Board certified Acupuncturist in California and nationally certified from NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. She has also trained in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. She has a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree from Emperor’s College in Los Angeles. Bebe is also an experienced and certified yoga teacher. She is pre- and post-natal certified, as well as certified in Advanced Relax and Renew restoratives. Bebe grew up in Taiwan, a society deeply rooted with the Chinese culture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Bebe was first exposed to Oriental Medicine at age 4 and has a deep passion for the impact it has on an individual’s long term health. She loves that it treats the underlying condition of the body as a whole in order to achieve a higher level of long term health and wellness. Bebe believes Oriental medicine nourishes life, cultivates qi, prevents disease, and treats the progression of disease. She employs a holistic, integrated approach to patient care and long term wellness, and aspires to make a significant difference in the health of her patients. She uses several tools and approaches to improve her patient’s health and well-being including acupuncture, herbal medication, nutrition, meditation, yoga, tai chi, qi gong and other aspects of Oriental medicine. As a yoga teacher, Bebe has been practicing since she was a young girl and teaching for over 10 years. She has over 1000 hours of training. She has been featured on the cover of Yoga Journal and in the Yoga Journal’s Complete Home Practice DVD series. Her classes are challenging, energizing, fun and inspiring. Other interests and passions for Bebe include her spiritual practice, dance, her Shar pei Soba, and enjoying the varied culture and food of Los Angeles.
