The Unity in Diversity Nursing Professional Governance Council, in collaboration with the Office of Health Equity and Inclusive Excellence, has successfully hosted the 4th Annual Unity and Kindness Day celebrations. This event aimed to bridge gaps across roles and titles, bringing together faculty, staff, trainees and students for meaningful dialogue and engaging activities that promote an equitable and compassionate health care system.

Celebrating pediatric care. 💙 Our 6NW Pediatrics Unit at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center is one of only ten units in the US that has been honored with the Diamond Pediatric Nursing Excellence Award by the Society of Pediatric Nurses! This national recognition celebrates our nurses for going above and beyond to deliver compassionate, age-appropriate care that puts kids and families first.

A special shoutout to our nurse leaders for also receiving the Advocacy Poster Excellence Award, demonstrating their commitment to providing equitable care.
