Along with people all over the world taking part in their own Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills, WISE participated in the “Great California ShakeOut” at 10:16am today. This drill is an annual opportunity to practice how to be safer during earthquakes, to review and update emergency preparedness plans and supplies, and to secure spaces in order to prevent damage and injuries. It is through practicing "Drop, Cover, and Hold On" that we build “muscle memory” to help us respond correctly in the event of an earthquake.

Wise & Healthy Aging had the pleasure of welcoming back Jacob Catalano, co-founder of Stella Foster for "Enriching your Life with AI" last Thursday. Members of The Club were able to get a better understanding of what artificial intelligence is and learn how they might implement AI tools—like Stella Foster, an AI assistant designed for older adults and caregivers—in their lives.

Jacob will be back this coming Thursday, October 16 at 1:30pm. For information about how to become a member of The Club at WISE, visit us at 1527 4th Street in Santa Monica, check out wiseandhealthyaging.org/club-wise, or give us a call at (310) 394-9871.
