Hello, I am Dr. Sheila Forman. I am a psychologist and certified group psychotherapist. As a psychologist, I have been helping people with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem and eating issues for over twenty years. I offer both individual and group therapy, but is group therapy is my specialty.
More recently, I became an MB-EAT Instructor. MB-EAT stands for mindfulness-based eating awareness training. So, now, in addition to my psychotherapy practice, I teach a mindful eating through my TAME Your Appetite: The Art of Mindful Eating programs. I am also the author of three self-help books The Best Diet Begins in Your Mind – Eliminate the Eight Emotional Obstacles to Permanent Weight Loss, Do You Use Food to Cope?
