📍 An incredible night at Lunetta Restaurant!
We were honored to host our Stakeholders Dinner — an intimate and impactful evening centered around the CLARE|MATRIX Pico Campus Expansion Project and our Capital Campaign.

🤝 We were joined by key community voices including Santa Monica Mayor , Councilmember , and several local business owners, all united in thoughtful conversation around the urgent need for expanded behavioral health services and solutions to homelessness in our city.

🌱 Together, we explored how the Pico Campus will be a space of healing, recovery, and hope — rooted in community, built by collaboration.

Last week, CLARE|MATRIX had the privilege of facilitating a Cultural Competency Training with the Torrance Police Department . As part of the training, a panel of our residential participants courageously shared their personal stories - from the challenges they faced before entering treatment to the progress they’ve made on their recovery journey.

This conversation highlighted the importance of trauma-informed approaches, compassionate engagement, and the power of lived experience in shaping understanding between law enforcement and the recovery community.

We’re grateful to our participants for their vulnerability and to TPD for their openness and commitment to deepening community partnerships.

We’re thrilled to share that the 2025 CLARE|MATRIX Tribute Dinner was an extraordinary success!

Together, we raised nearly $200,000 during the program through paddle raises and direct donations. This is four times more than last year! In total, we raised approximately $375,000 to support our lifesaving work and passion to put recovery back into treatment.

A heartfelt thank you to our inspiring honorees—Fire Station 69, Megan Holiday, and John Feldmann—whose powerful stories of service and recovery made the evening truly unforgettable. And to everyone who attended: we hope you had a blast celebrating with us and look forward to hosting you again next year!

Earlier this week the CLARE|MATRIX Outreach & Partner Relations teams had the opportunity to participate in the street-based engagement collaborative training and orientation. The three-day experience was not only informative but deeply energizing; bringing together committed providers from across sectors and SPAs with a shared goal of improving how we engage and serve people experiencing homelessness in this region.

We especially appreciated the chance to present on CLARE | MATRIX’s services and connect with fellow partners doing such important work throughout SPA 5. The final day’s team building and resource-sharing activities reinforced what we already know: that collaboration, transparency and coordinated care are essential to meeting the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors.

We’re proud to stand alongside LAHSA, DHS, DMH and fellow community organizations in building a more responsive and equitable system of care.
